Today in true crime history -- on August 20th 1978, five teenage boys were reported missing from Newark, New Jersey. The boys came to be known as the Clinton Avenue Five as news of their disappearance spread. Investigators were baffled as the search for their bodies and any suspects that could be responsible for whatever happened to the missing teens stretched over 3 decades. Today the case is considered closed, but there are still so many unanswered questions and we, quite frankly, don't have full confidence in the outcome of the trial.
Writing and research by Aurora Cady.
Original music and audio production by Louis Levesque.
