The Missing Compys Podcast

Join Justin, Mike, and Paul as they break down the original script for Jurassic Park! This script was written by the one and only Michael Crichton and is completely different from the film we ended up getting. Far more detailed with some great set pieces taken directly from his own book this would have not only been a far more complex film and story but also far closer to Crichton's own novel. Would it have been possible to film in 1993, maybe and maybe not, but one can dream and imagine.

Join Justin and Mike as they talk with special guest James from Jurassic Unicast! In this show we covered a wide range of Jurassic topics with a large focus on Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom and its release on physical media. It was an absolute blast to record and hopefully will be great fun to listen to. There were some audio recording issues that we have done our best to clean up so bear with us on this one. Be sure to check out Jurassic Unicast on YouTube as they do great Jurassic based content there!

Join Justin and Liz as they give their thoughts on the newest cinematic take on Venom. Does Sony's newest attempt in the Spiderman Universe deserve your time or should it slither back into the darkness like Spiderman 3? As always the first part of the discussion will be totally spoiler free so if you haven't yet seen the film take a listen to that section, go see the film and than come back and finish listening!

Justin gives his overall thoughts on the 4k Disc and suffice it to say Universal knocked it out of the park on this one. Brad also talks his crazy mission to pick this bad boy up form stores and some very odd issues that are apparently happening with PS4s and this Blue Ray. It was a great chat and hopefully it will be a great listen!

As always we here at the Missing Compys Podcast thank you for listening and supporting the show!

Join Justin and Mike as they talk scientific accuracy and Jurassic Park.  Specifically they talk about whether or not they would be interested in a completely scientifically accurate remake of Jurassic Park 1993.  We also go in the often used excuse of Jurassic World or Fallen Kingdom being lesser films because of the scientific inaccuracies and why that just doesn't hold any water for us.
