It Black History Month and so many hidden gems are now being told. Why? Because of the omissions of the contributions of Black people we were cheated of the many important facts about history. Listen instead of buying the up to date sneakers and video games spend time with your children and teach them about the contributions that Black people made to the world. What would the world look like if we all knew about the contributions different cultures made to made America what it is today. Reading is fundamental and KNOWLEDGE IS POWER.
