I know what it feels like to wake up already exhausted — to start the day with missing shoes, tears over breakfast, and that sinking thought: It shouldn’t be this hard.

I’m a mum of four, grandmother of eight, with another on the way. Three of my grandchildren have ADHD and two have both Autism and ADHD. My family’s ADHD story spans decades — including my eldest daughter’s late diagnosis at 42. For years, I didn’t have the words or tools to explain the chaos. I thought it was just our 'normal'.

Then I learned the truth: ADHD is a brain wiring difference, not a character flaw — and with the right strategies, support, and mindset shifts, families can move from daily firefighting to calmer, more connected relationships.

As an ADHD Life Coach & Coach Instructor with the iACTCenter, former Project Manager & Resource Manager and author of The ADHD Support Handbook, I now help parents and caregivers create homes where children can thrive — and where parents feel confident and supported, not alone and overwhelmed.
