The MM Cast

If you love Commander and are looking for a little challenge, Artisan may be just what you are looking for. Using the same rules as traditional Commander, Artisan challenges you to build without any rare or mythic cards - and ultimately provides a format that is often more strategically deep and fulfilling than 'full power' Commander provides. Plus, your deck is still legal to play at the regular Commander tables.

Marshall is joined this week by Veil of Death MTG (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCDBxPrHt-NCy6deNXNluVBw) to discuss the format and dive into what makes them both so excited about this new way to play.

In the Modern Super Qualifier every deck in the top 4 was Grixis. Is it the best deck in the format? Is modern diverse? Does it need a ban? This week we try to answer all these questions and more.

Previews for Kamigawa start this week which got us thinking. What are some of the planes in the Modern era that we haven't revisited yet? This week we discuss what the likely hood for is for returning to each Plane.

Almost 2 years after they were release in Ikoria Companions are still running wild in Modern. With that in mind we ask the question are Companions a problem for the format?
