HERE'S TO THE NEW SEASON OF THE MOBILE MENTOR PODCAST:
It's been a LOOONGGG time – I've been lapping up my return back to London/UK and living as presently as possible in pandemic times. Apologies for the delay in getting back to it (I vouch to be more consistent now that I've figured out a routine).
ALSO, there's a brand-new episode format: every two weeks I'll be sharing a few of the most prevailing, niggling and personal experiences and situations that arise in life, attempting to make sense of them and figure things out in real-time with you. Also, expect the regular Knowledge Bomb section to round off each release; a learning or nugget I've come across that helped me and might help you – a bit like my Guru Moments IGTVs (if you know, you know). Ever thought of relocating but want to hear what it's like? Ever moved then gone elsewhere to get closer to where/who you want to be? After two years in Canada, one pandemic, (lots of visa paperwork), new career experiences, a great relationship, and mega life lessons, I'm heading back to the motherland. In an open and personal episode, I share what's driving me to this change and why BC didn't feel like the place to stay permanently for now. So grateful for this chapter! (If I've learnt anything, it's that everything in life is temporary, and I have to honour what arises.) Hope you're all being kind to yourselves! 🌻

February 08, 2021 S4: It's Been (Nearly) a Year in Lockdown...
What a time to be alive. It's been a whole year of the pandemic... I'm sure many of us have learned a lot about ourselves and been through a BUNCH of emotional phases. Here I share the main themes that have surfaced for me: my relationship with work, how I strive for perfection, my constant need to be problem-solving or 'doing' (plus what influences our programming on a societal level). With this, I reflect on how I can start to make the ride of life a bit easier, ending on some questions we could all ask ourselves!

Let's face it—finding our worth in a world full of mixed messages, hierarchies, algorithms, speed, and lots of noise (from parents, peers, and institutions) is FRIGGIN' hard. Heck, it's been a journey since my teens and will never cease. So, to help you discover yours and cultivate more ways self-care can work for you at the prime age of 30, I've put together 5 key themes I WISH I'D KNOWN SOONER!!! This journey can be tumultuous. October 08, 2020 S4: Career Transitioning: From Architecture to Advertising
HI AGAIN! Here, I share my story on how I moved from higher education in architecture to a copywriter at a global brand (part 1), and the 4 key ingredients I think helped get me there (part 2). It was no easy feat and a VERY stressful, confusing time throughout early adulthood, but after 10ish years, I've finally found a job area that stimulates me (the 'what' and 'where'), allows me to utilise MY skills and talents (the 'how'), and solidifies my purpose (the 'why').
Quick note: Environments/companies/industry culture can really dictate our work life experiences, so consider that throughout your journey—it's not just on you. There are also many societal barriers working against different folk.

I haven't spoken on this openly before, but after 29 years and further understanding myself in the context of society and the LGBTQ+ community, it was the right time. Listening to other people's stories (on Youtube, podcasts, TV shows & IG) REALLY helped validate my own, so I hope this can do that for you!
