In today's audio only special, I am joined by Jaqui, a Black adoptive mother and Sherifa, an adoption specialist talk to me about all things Black adoption. Did you know Black children stay within the system up to 4x longer than their white counterparts, simply because on average, there are less Black than white adoptive parents coming forward and thus, not picking them. 

Our conversation ranged from single parenthood, choosing adoption over waiting for a potential spouse to have a child, why Black people don't adopt, the adoptive process and so much more!

Week 5 of #LoveIsland came with a few (unexpected) plot twists. With the lads getting to know and bringing back some of the Casa Amor girls, drama was bound to ensue. Toby gets himself in a pickle and redeclares his love for Chloe, even after coupling with Aby and Mary.
