From heroin chic and Nirvana grunge to Afro-pop; reggae, K-pop, and French hip-hop to Euro-trash house and EDM, the 90’s opened up a anything-goes culture of acceptance and experimentation. From the mid-90’s, the first dot-com boom shepherded in both a relaxation of the norms for how professional men dress in a more “relaxed” office to a renewed appreciation of the value of the quality and details for traditional styling. Far from dying out, classic suiting received a reboot, paired with elements of the new, relaxed, fitted forms of the era.
