In this episode of The Modern Opportunist podcast, I speak with June Jeong, a good friend and survivor of Complex Trauma / Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.
June saw a gap in the market for tools that support people in trauma recovery. So, she decided to start an app, Discord community, and TikTok account (https://www.tiktok.com/@processcomplextrauma), sharing her knowledge with others in recovery, based on her own experiences.
Some progress can’t be made intellectually; this conversation explains why.
While ‘trauma’ may not be a label you identify with, it is something that afflicts us all in some way, and the lessons and teachings June shares on growth and identity are a worthwhile listen for anyone.
