It’s been almost a year since Vault 76 opened and the residents found themselves in an Appalachia none of them recognized. The Scorched have loomed large over everything in the region...even as the Vaulters struggled to begin rebuilding.

The New Enclave has risen at the Whitespring and spread its influence. But now, after Sunnytop, the Colonel realizes they are no longer alone, and the Scorched must be dealt with before these newcomers are exposed, infected, and carry the plague to the world.

We now learn the history of Operation Beowulf and set the stage for what is to come...a battle to decide whether Appalachia belonged to humanity or the monsters.

Enclave Team Alpha, made up of the Colonel, Major Lilith, Sergeant Mueller and Corporal Cindy traveled to the Morgantown Settlement in search of  evidence of new visitors to Appalachia.

Captain Edwards pointed them to the new settlement at Monongah and disturbing lack of communication from them.

In the old mining town, the team discovered a massacre.

Now, the Colonel is on the trail of those who committed this vile act, determined to finish the mission and enact her own version of Wasteland justice.

Appalachia has reached a turning point and nothing will ever be the same again.

In the world of Fallout, the residents of Vault 76 were "the best and brightest of America," yet they were unprepared for what they would find after Reclamation Day.

Every journey has a beginning. This is the story of Valeria Faustina, now known as the Colonel...from her early days and growing up in Vault 76, to traveling the empty roads of Appalachia after the Vault opened.

Even as the residents of Vault 76 spread throughout Appalachia and encountered the many dangers of the Wasteland, they couldn’t help but wonder what was happening on the other side of the mountains.

Colonel Valeria was focused on the challenges in front of her...the Scorched, the Super Mutants, and the tasks of rebuilding in the name of the New Enclave.

However, no plan is perfect...and the winds of change are beginning to blow.

Myths, legends, and spooky stories told around the campfire are an ingrained part of the very fabric of Appalachia. However, we know the monsters are real. After the war, the survivors tried to start over.

In an isolated corner of the Savage Divide, the “Sons of Dane” came face to face with a creature from the pages of folklore. In the end, when the music stopped, all that remained was a cold wind blowing through an empty compound.

Now an old automated message brings the story of the Sons of Dane back into the light. Investigation and elimination of Cryptids is vital to securing the future of Appalachia.

Stories are told around the campfires and in whispered conversations of the Mothman, and those who worship the enigmatic creature. Most travelers know to avoid the havens of the Cult or suffer an indescribable fate.

There are some who scoff at these warnings and tread where no one else will dare. In the shadows and darkness of an old abandoned mine, the true horror of the Mothman is revealed.

As Major Lilith makes her way north to her parents’ old home in Berkeley Springs, Colonel Valeria is approaching a different kind of homecoming of her own.

Former Vault 76’ers have reclaimed the old Morgantown Airport from the Scorched and have begun to build a thriving community...however Appalachia is far more dangerous than any of them could imagine...but perhaps the Colonel can provide a solution...at a price, of course.

It's been a bit of a slow period in the Whitespring Bunker. The Colonel and Team Alpha are traveling to Morgantown and Major Lilith is on her way back from a classified mission in Berkeley Springs.

Captain Stein asked "The Operative" to organize a tour of the bunker and Whitespring Resort for our new members to relate a bit of the history of the facility, how it's being used today, and what the plans for expansion are for the future.

There had been a time when the factions of Appalachia might have worked together to defeat the Scorched. Each one had a piece of the puzzle...but in-fighting and mutual distrust doomed them all.

In one Free State's Bunker, Abigayle Singh tried to single-handedly turn the tide...and left a message of hope for the future.

In the end, Abbie grabbed her pack and left the safety of her bunker for the unknown. She steps into a world overrun by the monsters...perhaps one of the last people in Appalachia. Where is she going? And what happened to her?
