The Mogwai Minute

It's a sad day. Even for a Friday. We say goodbye to Megan and Pete but before we make them give back their keys to the studio we dig real deep on movie theater snacks, Hulk vs The Duke, and how best to light old people. 

How will YOU survive when society crumbles? What are your skills? Who was your favorite 80's wrestler? We delve into these topics and much much more and we want to hear your views before the internet gets taken over by Morlocks. 

Today Megan and Pete take the show right off the rails with talk of fire marshalls, the importance of tenant/landlord relations, and just how much meta is too much meta. We swear, we tried to keep them on topic but they just weren't having it. 

We follow up Monday with a solid showing. Today we make not so subtle references to the miracle of life, survival preferences on a desert island, and nostalgia combined with object permanence. 

New week! New guests! New topics that are somewhat tangentially related to the minute! We are joined by Meggan Costello of Wisconsin fame, and Pete Mummert of Indiana Jones Minute and we leap from a towering height and plummet into this minute with talk of falconing, the apathy of New Yorkers, and how old school Dick Miller is. 

We round out the week with Songe and Rachael as we discuss Barbour jackets, funny fire alarms, and hunchback sensitivities.

Today we talk about personal pizza preferences, Police Academy, 1990 NYC tattoo law, and high levels of attention to detail on the part of the puppeteers. Oh, and Rachael is recording while passing a kidney stone. That should be mentioned. 

That special middle of the weekday finds us chatting about proper grammar usage, fast forwarding evolution, and interstate delineations and nomenclature. 

Day 2 of Rachael and Songe and we discuss the revival of capes, the acting ability of Christopher Lee's eyebrows, and the social implications of atavism. 

All this week we are joined by the fantastic Songe Riddle and Rachael Noel Fox and we kick things off with a chug as we see the emergence the voice of a generation, talk about what makes a good sequel, and just how old is too old when it comes to age gaps and fathering children.
