The Mojo Radio Show - Ep 113: What Facing Cancer Taught a NZ High School Captain During his Graduation - Jake Bailey

Listen Later

Jake Bailey's story went viral last year when at the age of just 18 he left his hospital bed in a wheelchair to deliver a rousing valedictory speech at his graduation as school captain of Christchurch Boys' High School, just one week after being diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer. During that speech, he told his fellow students, "Here's the thing, none of us get out of life alive, so be gallant, be great, be gracious and be grateful for the opportunities you have." Above all, Jake Bailey has a powerful message to share. It's a message that will MAKE YOU THINK about your life, your priorities, how you cope with life's challenges, what you're grateful for and especially who you love.       The Mojo Radio Show copyright Gary Bertwistle & Darren Robertson   Products or companies we discuss are not paid endorsements.
