We’re not good at waiting. We just aren’t. We’re used to having things instantly: Amazon, Instacart, fast-food, movies and TV in the palm of our hands: on-demand. This Parables Series has been good for us, because a recurring theme in Jesus’ teaching is learning how to wait. How do we wait in this in-between. He talks about the Kingdom of God not just in the next life, but in the here and now. Jesus is teaching us how to live in the meantime, between his resurrection and when He will come again.
