Welcome to Season 3 of the Momz With Girlz Podcast. During the summer, we focused on a single passage - Psalm 139 - and covered sections of it in each episode. We enjoyed and were blessed by the depth, learning about God and the practical application of His Word, so we decided to use that format again! This fall, (with fall signifying a season of harvest), we are learning about what it means to flourish, as we go through Ephesians 3:14-21 together. In today's episode we look at the first few verses - Eph 3:14-17. We pray it blesses and encourages you.

This Summer at Momz With Girlz we are focusing on slowing down - at least our hearts and minds -(cos life doesn't really slow down for us mums, right?!) to hear Jesus, while connecting with our girls, our community and building ourselves up. In todays episode we talk about the next section of Psalm 139, which we found challenging, and yet, how it is relevant to us as moms, and for our girls too.

2. What are a few things your mom has said or done that has made you comfortable to talk to her/ share something with her?
3. Share a question (or a couple) that you wish your mom would not ask.
4. What could your mom do/say that would make your want to share?

We heard from the girls! We surveyed girls ranging from upper elementary to college age with 4 questions about sharing or shutting down with their moms. It was eye opening to us and we'd like to share what we heard from them with you. It's going to transform the way you parent your girls.

Here are the questions we asked:

2. What are a few things your mom has said or done that has made you comfortable to talk to her/ share something with her?
3. Share a question (or a couple) that you wish your mom would not ask.

Listen to today's episode to hear about how we take a word that's often uncomfortable and explore a Biblical perspective about it. We try to see it from God's eyes, reduce the overwhelm and make it "doable" for us, and we talk about why it's so important as we raise our girls.
