Week 68 and we are on the go home show for WCW and Starrcade 96! We start with the 12/23/96 Nitro where we have a Hogan promo bashing Piper, the main event of Rick Steiner vs. Jeff Jarrett and then we end the show with another Hogan promo. This time, Bischoff comes out dressed as Piper before the real Piper comes out and all hell breaks loose! Unfortunately we had to watch RAW as well so we get the main event of Bret Hart vs. Fake Razor. Meh.

On week 67 of MNW we have a couple main events from WWF and some promos and a main event (sort of) from WCW. First up, we have the title match from In Your House: It's Time between Bret Hart and Sycho Sid. The next night on RAW, we have a brotherly feud when Bart Gunn takes on Billy Gunn and one of them gets seriously injured. Then to close it out, we have a Sting segment as well as a promo from Hollywood Hogan. That leads up to the main event of The Outsiders vs. Faces of Fear that doesn't quite turn out as planned. It's week 66 and we are one week closer to the Piper/Hogan showdown and this is also the go home show for In Your House: It's Time PPV for WWF. We start with WWF and it's a pretty weak show as usual, but the main event of Taker vs. Mankind in a No Holds Barred match was pretty good. We then move over to WCW as Piper kicks off the show and receives a huge pop in Charlotte. Later in the show we get a Piper/Flair segment and the main event is canceled as Piper stages a sit in and then the NWO comes out and all hell breaks loose! WCW is killing it right now!

Things are heating up as we are on the road to WWF In Your House: It's Time as well as WCW's Starrcade. First up, we have the main event of Billy Gunn/HHH vs. Jake the Snake/Marc Mero in a dud of a match and then we follow that up with WCW's main event of Sting vs. Rick Steiner. Plus we have some NWO stuff as usual. Nitro is already up big time in our rankings, will they increase their lead?

On week 64 of the MNW we have the 1996 War Games main even battle royal! 3 rings, 60 wrestlers and one shot at the World Heavyweight Championship! Before we get into that, we have a confrontation between Hogan and Piper at the start of the show. Up next, we head into the main event of the 11/25/96 Nitro and it's Harlem Heat vs. The Faces of Fear plus the NWO starts the show by telling all WCW wrestlers to join NWO or suffer the consequences. Finally, we head over to the same night's RAW main event of Marc Mero vs. Billy Gunn. There is a reason the WCW is in the beginning of an 83 week ratings win streak. RAW is TERRIBLE. On this week of the MNW, we have the Survivor Series 1996 main event of Sycho Sid vs. Shawn Michaels for the WWF Heavyweight Championship! Then, on the 11-18-96 main event of RAW, it's Furnas/Lafon vs. Cassidy/Holly. And to end the show, we have the same night's main event of Nitro which is Benoit vs. Eddie Guerrero. It's week 62 and we are on the go home for WWF and it's 1996 Survivor Series PPV! We start this one off with the 11/11/96 WCW Monday Nitro and some NWO promos including them trying to recruit DDP. We end the Nitro episode with the main event of Faces of Fear vs. The American Males and a Hollywood Hogan promo afterwards to close out the show. Then, over on RAW we have a Stone Cold promo, the main event of Stone Cold vs. Bob Holly and then Austin goes looking for Bret Hart to open up a can of whoop ass! Week 61 and we are building on the Hollywood Hogan and Rowdy Roddy Piper feud with a couple of good things happening on the 11/4/96 edition of Nitro! We got the main event of Lex Luger and Booker T with Sting making an appearance in the rafters. After the match we get a phone call from Eric Bishoff regarding negotiations with Piper and then we end it with a Hogan promo burying Piper. We move to that same nights RAW and it gets a little more entertaining. Weaved throughout the show is Stone Cold making his way to Brian Pillman's house, eventually getting there and all hell breaks loose! Plus we have a very unforgettable main event of Fake Razor vs. Marc Mero, but this one is worth tuning into just for the Stone Cold/Pillman greatness! On week 60 we have Halloween Havoc 96' and the main event of Hollywood Hogan vs. Macho Man for the World Heavyweight Championship and after the match we a surprise debut of one of Hogan's old rivals. On the 10/28/96 Nitro, we got a Nick Patrick and Chris Jericho interview, then for the main event it's Booker T vs. Lex Luger and a promo from Hogan to end the show.
