Have you ever wondered what it would be like to build a business focused on adventure?
To travel the world and get paid
See the most beautiful landscapes and cultures
Come face to face with wild animals
I have. That's why I interviewed Jennifer Idol, an entrepreneur, scuba diver, underwater photographer, graphic designer, wildlife educator, and boundary breaker. Jennifer was the first woman to dive in all fifty states and built a business that allows her to live out her dreams of adventure.
I met Jennifer a couple times over the years, since I am a part of the scuba diving world. In our last meeting, she was showing one of her underwater documentaries. Jennifer’s images are breathtaking, and her adventures are boundless.
However, even an underwater business starts somewhere and has the same realities that many entrepreneurs face.
In this interview, Jennifer discusses…
-How she schedules and organizes her time to balance ten major adventure trips a year and handle the background work of her business
-How she found the most profitable opportunities in the adventure world
-Her theory of growing with your business, which she calls the Cupcake, Birthday Cake, and Wedding Cake model
-What she wishes she knew when she started
-How she balance business with her life as a mother, wife, and adventurer.
Thank you so much Jennifer for sharing such deep insight with us. I learned so much from you!
