After a week off to recover from the flu, we're back. This week we tell you why you should play Monster Hunter: World. There's some news thrown into the mix, but seriously, go play Monster Hunter: World.

This week saw Nintendo's next weird step for the Switch, my new addiction to PUBG, the Monster Hunter: World hype train hitting full speed, and the rumor of a new Fable game.

Nintendo dropped some Switch news; Newman beat Assassin's Creed: Origins; and I may have finally decided to stop playing WoW.

Monster Hunter: World is getting a really gross controller that is Japan exclusive. Newman played some more Assassin's Creed: Origins and I continue to play Monster Hunter: Stories.

First episode of the year! And there is no news. But, Newman was in studio this week, and we shared our thoughts on the president, video games, and the age gap.

This is our last new episode of 2017, and it's Game of the Year time. Plus, we discuss some of the highs and lows of a landmark year in video games, and our hopes for what's to come in 2018.

The Video Game Awards happened over weekend. The new Destiny 2 DLC dropped. Newman played Xenoblade Chronicles X 2. And we got to see more of Death Stranding.

After two weeks of being away, we finally got our technical issues sorted out. I beat Wolfenstein 2, Newman is still playing Assassins Creed: Origins, and he bought Xenoblade Chronicles 2 which may turn out to be an overly complicated, mechanically bloated, terrible game. He hasn't played it, so, maybe not. Fingers crossed.
