NASA is moving forward with its mission to build a permanent moon base, aiming to create the infrastructure needed for long-term human exploration. But before astronauts live on the moon, NASA plans to send robotic landers, rovers, power systems, communications equipment, and other tools to test conditions and prepare for future missions.
