There's been quite of bit of nerd news the last few weeks! To aid us in sorting through it,  we enlist novelist, senior staff writer at Entertainment Weekly and new #secretbestfriend, Anthony Breznican, to discuss the new Deadpool movie, Star Wars, X-Men, reporting nerd news for EW, as well as his stunning acclaimed debut novel, Brutal Youth.

Jason Anarchy rejoins us with the very first guest-submitted challenge! He brought to us what he considers "the best worst B-movie," and we're inclined to agree. We delight over the 1986 cult martial arts "classic," No Retreat, No Surrender, starring a bunch of dudes and Jean-Claude Van Damme (sort of). By all means, listen to our overjoyed reactions, but we IMPLORE you to watch this majestic film!

For Myles' birthday, the guys watch the 1993 'classic' (according to Myles) martial arts comedy, Surf Ninjas. Though, Patrick and Drew drag the good Surf Ninjas name through the mud, hysterics are still had and they all walked away learning a little something about themselves and the meaning of life: Moto surfing.

Luke Crane, creator of Burning Wheel and the Games Lead for Kickstarter,  joins Drew, Patrick, and Myles to talk about the culture of table top gaming before spiraling into an impromptu history lesson!

After all the excitement from this year's E3, Myles, Drew and Patrick try to pick just ONE announcement they're excited about. They fail. This week, they turn their attention to one of the most underrated animated shows of all-time: Disney's Gargoyles!

Nerds! Have we got a very special guest for you this week! Literary powerhouse, Jim Butcher, took time out of his insane writing schedule to chat with us about the first book in his new upcoming series, The Cinder Spires, his writing process, and, of course, the wizarding world of Harry Dresden.

Jason Fry crash lands into the Nerd Cave this week as we talk about his novel, The Jupiter Pirates: Hunt for the Hydra, as well as the work he's done and has planned for the Star Wars Universe. We tried our best, even threatened to make him walk the plank, to get him to spill details on the new Star Wars film, but Mr. Fry was immune to our ways of making people talk!
