When you think of Morecambe Wrestling, one of the first names you'll think of is Rockstar Spud. A mainstay of the FWA and XWA era for 10 years, Spud was key in the rise of Morecambe as a place to be in UK wrestling, as he transitioned from fiery Pocket Dynamo babyface to pioneering heel double champion as the charismatic head of Team Rockstar. During that memorable era, the only man to hold both the XWA Heavyweight and Flyweight Titles at the same time entertained Dome, Carleton and Hexagon crowds in bouts still talked about to this day - making enduring memories with the likes of RJ Singh, El Ligero, Sam Slam, Stevie Knight, Johnny Phere, Stixx, Nathan Cruz, Kris Travis and more. Then Spud went on to defy the odds and inspire a generation, as he won the inaugural British Boot Camp reality TV series, heading to the bright lights of America and a stellar career as Madam Dixie's Chief of Staff and The Ultimate Underdog in TNA. What's more, the battling boy from Birmingham then reached the pinnacle, working for the world's largest wrestling organisation as a TV regular with WWE under the name Drake Maverick, leading to runs as the GM of 205 Live, manager of The Authors of Pain, a memorable eight-reign obsession with the 24/7 Championship and, after being released during the Covid pandemic, an emotional comeback on NXT. The real-life James Curtin has done so much to put the British scene and indeed Morecambe Wrestling on the map. Now the man behind the Rockstar reunites with Greg Lambert to reminisce on his formative years, discuss his biggest career highlights and look ahead to his 2026 comeback to the ring - and the UK independent scene where he made his name. It's a trip down memory lane with one of the greats, not to be missed!

AEW All In will go down in history as not only the biggest wrestling show on UK turf this year but also as the night when Will Ospreay became the first Brit to win a world title on British soil. Greg Lambert and SilentMark look back at the epic events of August 30 2026 along with Odyssey Pro Wrestling commentator Lucy Simons, who was there at Wembley Stadium to soak up the electric atmosphere in person. Greg Burridge is today best known as the trainer of AEW Champion Will Ospreay and he watched on with pride as 'The Aerial Assassin' became the first Brit to capture a world title on British soil at All In at Wembley Stadium. As a wrestler himself, Greg is one of the biggest personalities to set foot in a UK ring over the past 25 years, particularly during his time as 'The Pukka One' Darren Burridge, the brash and loveable Essex boy with the furry dice in his trunks! During this time period, Burridge came to Morecambe where he became a huge favourite of the FWA and the XWA fans in 2006 and 2007. Just days after he was there to witness Ospreay's triumph at the mecca of British sport, Burridge sat down with Greg Lambert to discuss his 25-year career in an in-depth, colourful and sometimes emotional interview.

RJ Singh has been one of the top wrestlers in the UK for 25 years and for six years of that time, he was a mainstay in Morecambe. During the FWA and XWA era, the real-life Ross Jones was 'Mr Reliable' in Morecambe with consistently great performances in many storied matches and rivalries, winning two of his three British Flyweight Championships at The Dome along the way. And as we will discover as RJ is reunited with Greg Lambert, he also took part in Greg's favourite ever match in Morecambe. Singh is truly King as 'The Bollywood Dream' joins us on The Morecambe Wrestling Podcast!

Everyone at Alhambra Live was shocked and stunned - except Troy Ryan and Ethan Edwards - by the conclusion to Odyssey Pro Wrestling Stormy Waters on Saturday August 8 2026. Greg Lambert and SilentMark try to make sense of one of the most unexpectedly dominant performances in Morecambe Wrestling history, with the help of special guests Rogan, Dekker, Anthony Getski, Jack Johnson, Alexander Grey, referee Ste Grimshaw, Lynn from the production crew, and an exclusive immediate post-match reaction from the deposed former champion RPD. It's another one of our backstage specials from a night when history was made as not one but TWO titles changed hands, and doesn't Ethan Edwards love it....

The Morecambe Wrestling Podcast has reached its 50th episode! To mark this golden milestone, Greg Lambert and SilentMark were backstage immediately after Odyssey Pro Wrestling Mutiny held on Saturday June 6 2026 at Alhambra Live in Morecambe. It was a night to remember, as Mutiny became MOOtiny and Morecambe turned into MOOcambe...thanks to Isaac Wint's cousin and a wrestling cow. Re-live all the milky madness as we bring you exclusive post-show interviews with Lallie (Lana Austin and Hollie Barlow), Isaac Wint, Andre Dekker, Ethan Edwards and Troy Ryan, Odyssey Pro Wrestling Champion RPD, a first time appearance from the debuting 'Sexy Cowboy' Karl Parker and a (heavily edited) encounter with the 'Doctor of Nonsense' Sam Gradwell...

In 2006, the FWA and All-Star Wrestling were two of the UK's biggest promotions. On May 13 that year, squads representing these bitter rivals squared off at The Dome in a battle for the British Inter-Federation Cup. It was a momentous event, not least of all because it was the night the FWA Title belt was stolen from ringside! Greg Lambert and SilentMark investigate one of the great mysteries of Morecambe Wrestling, while looking back at this clash of titans two decades on. Also in this episode, more on the fallout from Revolution Pro Wrestling Bash at the Bay, and a look ahead to Odyssey Pro Wrestling Mutiny this Saturday. Programmes, two pounds!

Revolution Pro Wrestling Bash at the Bay was a historic first time ever pro wrestling event outdoors on the football pitch at Morecambe Football Club. Live-streamed across the world on Sunday May 24 2026, it raised the profile for wrestling in Morecambe to a global level. It also brought together the worlds of local promotion Odyssey Pro Wrestling and Europe's top company Rev Pro, saw some of the biggest names in UK and international wrestling compete in our little seaside home, featured surreal appearances by the IWGP Champion from New Japan and a Lucha Libre star from Mexico, as well as the return of faces with a Morecambe past and fresh talent never before seen in the town. Immediately after this incredible event in the Bank Holiday Sunday sunshine, Greg Lambert - who himself got to experience a very special moment on the show - was backstage for reaction from Sha Samuels, Kanji, Ethan Allen, Michael Oku and Amira Blair, Dave Bradshaw and promoter Andy Quildan. We also hear the Odyssey viewpoint from Omega Luke and insight into this groundbreaking event from the voice of OPW, Lucy Simons. Hope you enjoy listening as history is made!
