The Morning Beat With AJ and Mikalah

We started the morning off with some delicious coffee talk where Jai and Mikalah had a KIKI about their night last night. We then got into the national emergency that may happen soon. We ended the hour with two segments of Monique and Steve Harvey and the controversy of their talk. The internet has been going wild with this story and we wanted you to hear!

In this hour we started off with some today's hottest topics with News On The Beat. We then had a great conversation with Dr. Vinny Pompeii of Human Rights Campaign. After the interview we paid homage to the Parkland massacre that had its anniversary today.  We ended the hour with Japan same-sex couples who are suing Japan today for the right to get married.

We also talked about the event at The Abbey where Loveline will have their live broadcast. After this great interview we shed light on the Paul Manafort plea deal, can you say scandalous? I’m out final hour of the day we started off with talking about some of today hottest topics. We then got into the Chris Pratt scandal about his problematic beliefs. Ellen DeGeneres then went in and said that she is buying what he is selling and we want to know “when did she become the voice of our community?” There is quite an abundance of disrespect toward our community and we unpack that a bit in this segment. We did end the hour on a high note with Ann Cameron the Ryan Seacrest of Broadway.

In this hour we had some of today’s hottest topics to start and then we got onto a story that put us in awe. We got the chills when we heard the audio of this kid who opens up about his sexuality to his guy friend. You must take a listen to hear what we felt.
