1. Nigeria- Abuja- ACFTA Fest 2026
African Continental Free Trade Area (ACFTA) Fest 2026 unites Africa’s youth, innovation and culture in Nigeria.
It was the maiden edition of ACFTA Fest 2026 — a landmark three-day Pan-African celebration that brought together the continent’s vibrant cultures, bold innovators, and sporting legends under one roof in Abuja, Nigeria.
Designed to rotate annually across African nations, the forum aims to empower up to 1.5 million young people through entrepreneurship, arts and sports.
2. Lesotho-Maseru- SADC Electoral Advisory Council
THE Southern African Development Community (SADC) Electoral Advisory Council (SEAC) has welcomed the Lesotho Independent Electoral Commission (IEC)’s move towards introducing harmonised elections in Lesotho.
This, according to a SEAC member from Eswatini, Judge Ticheme Dlamini, who is leading a delegation conducting a post-election review mission for Lesotho’s October 2022 national elections.

Ghana becomes 1st African nation to join the EU security and defence partnership
Ghana has become the first African country to sign a security and defense partnership with the EU, marking a new phase in security cooperation focused on counterterrorism, cybersecurity, and regional stability.
