Starting this Sunday (Sept 1) 1,200 flags will wave along Graves Mill Road in honor or memory of our American heroes, the Field of Honor. Gary Hostutler with the Rotary Club of Forest joined the program to talk about preparations of the field, honoring the Lynchburg Police Department, and the ceremony beginning at 4:00 PM on Sunday

This week's "Rising Stars" are presented by Gentry Locke Attorneys. E.C. Glass sophomore VB Trost and freshman Meredith Plunkett recently completed a Vector Space project: Public Art Camp. They helped to design a mural, "Sunset on the James" which was painted on the steps at the corner of Rivermont and 5th streets in Downtown Lynchburg. They joined the program to talk about the project and their other interests
