He spoke about LCA's transition to the VHSL, leading the Bulldogs to their first Seminole District Championship and his volunteer work with the John Patterson Youth Basketball Camp.

Elizabeth Carter, a basketball and softball player from Amherst County High School is our newest Student Athlete of the Year semi-finalist, presented by Yorktown Funds. She spoke about taking a more active leadership role in her senior season, her volunteer work at Rehab Associates of Virginia and her battle with Type 1 diabetes and celiac disease.
