In partnership with Gillette Children’s the Minnesota Twins Community Fund is hosting their “Turn the Autograph Upside Down” honoring kids as heroes - Kristin Rortvedt Senior Director - Community Engagement, Executive Director for the Minnesota Twins Community Fund joined us for Twins First Pitch to talk more about that Saturday event and also the Twins RBI 18U and 15U All-Stars are in Kansas City hoping to play through the rainy conditions Friday with their All-Star festivities!

This week we saw all over social media a transformer explode and flare up at the KARE 11 news station in Golden Valley so we had to have Jana Shortal on to talk about the adaptation of them having to relocate to their transmitter site in Shoreview, the many helping stations that reached out and much more!

While the Aquatennial parade was cancelled, there is another major piece to the Aquatennial festivities and that is the Target Aquatennial Fireworks show in Minneapolis, we chatted with Patrick Brault, Creative Director of Zambelli Fireworks , who is an international award winning show designer and has produced many high profile displays including the Vancouver Winter Olympics fireworks and special effects. He also designed the Aquatennial display back in 2013 and has an extremely in-depth knowledge of fireworks and show design in general. He joined Tom Hauser to give all the details of the event and what goes into this spectacular show!
