Dear Rebecca and Burns,

 I am a 44-year-old female that works in the healthcare industry.  I have a co-worker that continuously rebels against the dress code and cell phone policy.  Several of us have mentioned this to our clinic supervisor but this employee still continues to do things.  The Supervisor is one of her daughter's friends.  It feels like the rest of us are held to a standard that doesn't apply to her.

A new study out of Michigan State University, published in the journals Early Childhood Research Quarterly and Infant and Child Development, finds a strong link between dads' moods and mental health and kids' development, both mental and behavioral.

Dear Rebecca and Burns,

I went on a girls' trip back in January to Mexico. We stayed at a beach house and one of my closest friends made an off-hand comment about my weight. We are both overweight, although I am the bigger of the two of us, and she told our other friends that she takes me places because it makes her look skinnier.

I've known her half my life and I know if I say something it'll mean weeks of the silent treatment, but I can't get over this. Is there a way to confront her that will keep our friendship intact?

We recently got an email from someone who is going through a lot not only in their personal life but in their spiritual walk as well. They mentioned that they were saved at the age of 11, but because they have made so many mistakes in their life, they question whether or not they are really saved. Dear Rebecca and Burns,

I have been divorced for more than a year and recently started dating a very nice man named Brian. My eldest daughter and her children live with me and my daughter doesn't want "strange men" around her kids, which I understand. Because of this, Brian and I never spend time at my house. It hurts because I have allowed the father of her children to live with us, yet I can't have someone I care about visiting me at the home I work hard to pay for.

How do I handle this? I don't want to go into detail, but I want my grandchildren under my roof.

Are you trustworthy? Being trustworthy is one of the qualities of a good leader. There are traits someone needs to have in order to be trustworthy. Trustworthy traits are internal qualities that form the bedrock of our character. Regardless of the situation or circumstances, these traits are simply a part of who we are.

Is this a dream come true for kids or what? It certainly looks to be that way as the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has for the first time approved a video game for treating attention deficit hyperactivity disorder in children.

The FDA said this past Monday the game built by Boston-based Akili Interactive Labs can improve attention function for kids dealing with ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder). 

The game, called EndeavorRx, requires a prescription and is designed for children ages 8 to 12 with certain symptoms of ADHD. This is also history in the making because it will be the first time that the FDA has approved a digital therapy for improving ADHD symptoms while also being the first time it has authorized the marketing of it as well. 

After conducting several studies on more than 600 children, the FDA gathered data through the game which involves a character traveling by hoverboard through a racecourse path. Due to the nature of the game, the sensory and motor tasks included are designed to help the patient improve cognitive functioning in the process of having fun engaging with the game. 

Isn't this absolutely incredible? All I can think of is what will they come up with next?
