As he was stepping into his stardom he was also stepping into the darkness. Michael developed a drug and alcohol addiction that caused his music career to crumble and send him to rehab. This was a defining moment for Michael as he came back exponentially stronger. During this time Michael found a deep strength in his spirituality and has reinvented himself as a conscious rapper - putting out incredibly articulate messages about human potential, connection, and love in his music. While this is an incredible feat alone, Michael has simultaneously launched a successful crystal bracelet company with his wife Alexis.
