I’m talking about your role as a parent. Moms and dads are given a sacred mandate. It’s a big deal! And we should consider our role as nothing less than a divine appointment from God.

Titus 2, verses 6 through 8 says: “Encourage the young men to be self-controlled. In
everything, set an example by doing what is good. In your teaching show integrity, seriousness and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned.”

As you carry out your duties as parent, remember the One who appointed you. He said, “In everything, set an example by doing what is good.” Yours is a very high calling!
