ROUGH TRANSCRIPT OF THE EPISODE
Hello, Health Investor!
I’m so happy you’re back with me on The Health Investment Podcast because it means you’re ready to learn more tips ‘n tricks for optimal health.
You may have noticed that this episode is quite short, and you may also have noticed that I didn’t do a little intro before the music this time.
So you may be asking yourself, “What the heck is going on?”
Well, I’m switching things up a bit. Not a lot! Just a bit.
I’m still gonna do longer episodes myself and interviews with guests, but I’m also going to add two NEW types of episodes:
One type will be a Q&A—which is exactly what it sounds like! Every so often, I’ll compile questions I’ve gotten from Instagram followers, one-on-one coaching clients I’m working with, friends, family members, etc...and I’ll answer them on this podcast!
So, if you ever have a burning question about nutrition/health that you’d like me to answer, feel free to DM me anytime on the ‘gram (@thehealthinvestment) OR email me at
[email protected].
I think those episodes will be really fun to do—and hopefully they’ll provide a lot of value for you!
The second new type of episode will be like this one: I’m gonna call these “bite-sized” episodes.
(Get it? Bite-sized?? I can’t take credit for that. My husband Thomas came up with it. He’s full of punny ideas! I told him I’d give him credit for this one.)
In each bite-sized episode, I’m gonna cover just ONE nutrition and/or health-related topic that’s been on my mind—and every topic I choose will be super important for YOU to think about, as well.
Since I only release new episodes each Monday, you’ll have an entire week to ponder the subject! And if you take that full week to really do so, I promise it’ll be valuable.
So, without further ado...
The topic for this first bite-sized episode came to me when I was stuck in traffic (as I often am these days now that I live in the Bay Area!).
While sitting in the car with nothing to do I was thinking about money management and investing and different money-related goals I have for myself and how hard everyone works and whether or not other people are saving up for retirement and “fun” later in life…
Basically, I went down a money rabbit hole, which I’m sure you’ve done before as well.
And then, in true rabbit hole fashion, I got to thinking about other related topics, like…
People often say they don’t have enough money to eat healthy...even though they actually do.
On the other hand, some people DO have the money to do allll of the things, but they don’t prioritize their health.
As I started thinking about money AND health, I kept coming back to one thought that relates to my brand name, The Health Investment.
I had this thought this when I created my brand—and I still think it now—but I don’t really talk about it enough.
The thought is this—you can’t afford NOT to invest in your health.
