The word “believe” appears around 100 times in the gospel of John. The Apostle John tells us his reason for writing his gospel letter, “..that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you may have life in His name.” Though the entire gospel letter points to salvation in Christ there’s one verse that perhaps sums up the message best. Many refer to it as the most popular verse in the Bible.
