  • HOLOCAUST Survivor: A Story of Overcoming

Sami Steigmann is a Holocaust survivor and one of the youngest survivors alive today. He found out years later that he was a victim of Nazi medical experiments with kids & still endures the pain today.  Few people on this earth have gone through the atrocities he faced when he was just a child, & he was able to transform himself from a victim into an agent of social change with his speeches to tens of thousands of youth and at major Holocaust institutions such as the Museum of Jewish Heritage in Manhattan.  He is dedicated to reaching as many young people as he can, nationally & internationally, promoting tolerance.

His advice: "NEVER GIVE UP. NEVER LOSE HOPE & enjoy the life you’ve been given. NEVER BE A PERPETRATOR (anyone that hurts another, intentionally and repeatedly, is a perpetrator). But most importantly, NEVER, EVER BE A BY-STANDER. The greatest tragedy in human history, the Holocaust & all the genocides, happened because the world stood by and did nothing."
