I recently felt judged...by a blueberry pastry.

It all depends on the ANGLE we're looking from, I guess.

Not that long ago, life had thrown some situations my way, which caused me to 'hit the pause button'...and stay there.

Yup...I was 'stuck', big time.

Feeling low.

And the toughest things about times like this are:

1) realizing how bad things had gotten

2) knowing how to get out of it

Slowly, it happened.

And the biggest breakthroughs came when I decided to...

DO SOMETHING!

You Get a CLEAN SLATE!

Do you realize that every day is a Clean Slate...in some way?

Sure, some things don't necessarily recycle every time the sun comes up. Your life is not exactly Groundhog day.

But...there ARE some things that you can start fresh with every day.

BONUS: You don't need a 'special' day to hang your hat on, to make a change.

ANY day will do.

For years (decades, actually) I *was* a Wrecking Ball.

Nasty words.

And dang it...I believed every one of them.

I knew better.

Didn't believe I *deserved* better, though.

Until a good friend gave me a Wake-Up Call that I didn't realize I needed...as badly as I did.

It can be soooo overwhelming to think of all the different areas of our lives, then think of all the things we said we WANT to achieve.

If only we could pick ONE...and take an action, today.

Then another one, tomorrow.

Boundaries, Rules...and Tollhouse Cookies!

Life without boundaries and rules can quickly become chaos.

In my case, it resulted in saying YES to wayyyy too many things, and losing my own schedule in the process.

During a recent Kindness Mission in our kitchen, my wife Tina taught me the benefit of setting up some boundaries and rules for self-protection.

It worked!!

It helped us to help others.
