Latest figures from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders show the rapid increase in sales of new pure electric cars has slowed in recent months. The number of registrations during the first three months of the year was 102% more than during the same period in 2021. At the end of August, the year-to-date increase had fallen to 49%.

We are trying to make sense of why Tesla refuses to franchise. Standardization is key, but a dealer network would help ease the access for customers to acquire service, while building relationships.

Police and the bomb squad was called in to investigate a suspicious item that resembled a possible explosive device that was eventually removed. The Salt Lake City Police Department, evacuated part of an apartment building after which they realized it was a car part. Twitter had a field day with this.
