I learned that phrase when I attended and participated in The Toyota Way Sales And Marketing at The Toyota Global Knowledge Centre.
But this is something I already knew. I was practicing this all my life. I grew up with my grandparents. So I always had the utmost respect for my elders.

And so this episode will do just that. For this episode we interview Desmond "Desi" Smith or "Uncle Desi". Father, Husband, Mentor and to most...a friend.

Every dealership has one. A mentor who has seen it all and is affectionately supportive to any and everyone who is eager to learn the trade.

Dealerships must invest in infrastructure aka "profit centres" especially with an unstable new car market. While Most regions across the world understand this philosophy, not so much in North America with consistent competition with a growing pre owned and used car market.
