The best pizza in Colorado is in Longmont. No, really.

On today's episode we find out how the East Boulder County town ended up with three of the best pizza restaurants in the state just blocks apart from each other. The Colorado Pizza Festival comes to Longmont on September 5. With the fanfare, the city is ready to claim its title as the Pizza Capital of Colorado.

What it really comes down to though is it's fanatically passionate residents and a city eager to become a can't-miss destination in Colorado.

Nederland’s new child care center is in hot water.

In less than three weeks, TEENS Inc. is supposed to welcome dozens of children to the $7 million building. But the center might not be able to open its doors at all. Outstanding utilities fees have the opening date hanging in the balance, and now the town is forced to weigh resident utility rate hikes or a possible delayed opening for the brand new facility.

This week, we're featuring a story from reporter and producer Shay Castle. Shay wrote a piece for the August edition of Caribou Current about a family of artists being featured in a Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art exhibit through September, called "Tres Voces, Un Corazon".

In this week's episode, the trio tells us who their biggest influences in art are, how they fell in love with their respective mediums, and what it's like being a family of creatives all sharing one heart.

Read the full story at cariboucurrent.com.

We featured some music from Cipriano's band Los Lo Los in this episode. Check them out here: youtube.com/@loslolosrock.
