This week we speak with Tim Cleary. Tim is retired from nuclear power/electric utility work. He has run over 30 marathons and ultras. For three years, he has been thinking and dreaming about the Appalachian Trail as he trains and runs the local trails of Signal Mountain, Tennessee. Now retired and with his family's support, he is planning to leave March 22, 2020 to begin his Appalachian Trail Thru-Hike. We talk plans, ideas, gear and training.
