Episode Final Show.  Join host Cody with Justin, Jenn, Jamie, Jared, Kevin, and Joe as we present our final TMKB Podcast We will spend some time reminiscing and seizing the opportunity to say goodbye to all of you one last time.

Since January 2016, we have had the joy of talking Disney with each other and with all of you on a weekly basis. For 330 episodes, we hopefully have entertained and informed you at least a little bit along the way, and we cherish the many friends and memories we have made over the years. We are proud of everything we have produced and would not change a thing about anything. It has been a heck of a run, but with heavy hearts today we announce that it is time for our show to end.

Seasons come, and seasons go. We are so thankful for this season of our lives, but now, it is time for all of us to usher in a new season. Each of us counts one another as near and dear friends, brought together by this show and our love for Disney, and well beyond our show's lifespan, our friendships will endure. We may no longer press record for an hour or so every week to share our fandom with you, but you can bet that our friendships will only grow in the days, weeks, months, and years to come.

To our loyal listeners, thank you for allowing us to be a small part of your lives. We know there are so many options when it comes to choosing which podcasts to listen to every week, and we so appreciate all the times you decided to listen to us. Thank you for tolerating our nonsense and allowing us to share our love of Disney.  And so, our journey comes to an end, and we thank you for taking the journey with us. To infinity and beyond, may the Force be with you. We love you 3000!

Episode 330: Retro WDW Podcast.  Join host Cody with Jamie, Justin, Joe, and special guest Brian Miles from Retro WDW Podcast and Lake Buena Vista Historical Society as they discuss EPCOT in all its 40th glory.  Que the Wayback machine.

 

Brian Miles has been visiting Walt Disney World since 1988 when EPCOT Center wowed him. A lifelong resident of the Philadelphia region he is our resident expert on Presidential, food, pop culture,    and other bizarre history topics that interest him. In addition to co-hosting our monthly podcast, he oversees the digitization of our vast photographic slide archives. He acts as a sort of “administrator” for the various and sundry tasks associated with keeping LBVHistory’s content churning. When he’s not talking about “the way things used to be” he is a Vice President for Human Resources and Risk Management at the medium-sized real estate development firm where he’s worked for the last 20+ years.

Episode 329: Jim Sarno.  Join host Cody with Justin, Jamie, Joe and our amazing guest Jim Sarno, Walt Disney Imagineer.  We chat about his time with Imagineering and working on Epcot.   Happy 40th EPCOT!

 

Jim Sarno was a Walt Disney Imagineer working on the opening team for Epcot. He worked in the model shop with Harriet Burns, Joe Rohde, and many more classic Imagineers. Working on many of the pavilions we know and love at Epcot - including The Land Pavilion, Imagination Pavilion, Communicore, and Spaceship Earth - Jim was responsible for creating SMRT-1, the fountain that once lived in the center of the Land Pavilion, and much more.
