The Legendary Axe takes place in a faraway land, where its inhabitants have been under the control of the cult of Jagu. The cult, who has regularly pillaged the countryside, is led by a half-man half-beast named Jagu. The game's protagonist, Gogan, lives in the village of Minofu, who must hand over one person as a human sacrifice to the Jagu every year. 

Gogan was away in a remote village studying warfare when he finds out that his childhood friend, Flare, has been selected by the Jagu as their annual sacrifice. Rushing back to Minofu, he finds that she has already been taken by the Jagu to the "Evil Place" located in the mountains. The village elders hand Gogan the Legendary Axe named "Sting" which gives him great strength to fight the evil cult. 

Armed with this axe, he sets off to the Evil Place to defeat Jagu and his cult and rescue Flare.

Two barbarians are fighting. The hero, Prince Sirius loses to his brother Zach and is tossed off of a cliff into the first stage. The manual expounds upon all of this nonsense – King Brace, who saved the world from the evil, most despicable entity known only as “King Drodam,” united the kingdom and married Queen Grace, who bore two sons. Everybody was happy in the valley until good ol’ King Brace died and his two sons, Sirius and Zach, fight for the throne.

One day in Feudal Japan, Kid Niki, the most radical of ninjas, is training at his Ninja School. Suddenly, a passing bird is struck down by an arrow and lands at Niki's feet. Attached is a note explaining that Niki's girlfriend, Princess Margo, has been kidnapped by the evil Stone Wizard. With the cry of "Will help you!" Niki bursts through the wall of his school and sets off on his quest to save Margo.

After suffering for years at the hands of an abusive husband, Bonnie eventually decides to protect herself by pressing charges against him. With the help of sympathetic police officer Bill Star, she decides to begin rebuilding her life by joining the LAPD.

A single mom and her two boys help take care of their grandmother with mystical powers.
