Dr Arif, GP, graduated from Pakistan and now works in the UK. She will be discussing the challenges of females entering Medicine in Pakistan and her route to the UK via PLAB

Dr Juhee, a GP trainee, will be discussing how her passion in dance began, her use of language being a second generation migrant and the effect of this on her practice

Dr Lauren-Jane is a FY2 due to start her surgical training. She is a mother of two and will be discussing the challenges she faced entering medical school with no A levels and a child.

Dr Devi will be discussing the challenges she faced applying to Medicine and the options available post Medicine and after FY2 in Academia and the less common routes.

Dr Sola, is an IMG and FY1 interested in pursing a career in Cardiology. She will be discussing important considerations such as the PLAB before coming to the UK.

Dr Zirva, a GP will be discussing her career route into Medicine, the importance of widening participation and the challenges associated to language and stigma.

Dr Saleha is an IMG currently working as a FY2 in ED in the UK. She will be discussing her route to the UK with the IELTS and PLAB exams as well as her interest in Gastro-Hepatology.

Dr Maygol will be discussing her non traditional route and culture shock into Medicine in London. She is an Iranian Doctor and mum who is trying to teach her children Farsi and Kurdish.

Dr Carver will be discussing her route into GP. As a British South Asian Doctor who only speaks English, she will discuss the assumptions and challenges she has faced.

Dr Kumbay will be discussing the pathway and challenges associated to a career in O&G including the stigma around Maternal Mental Health, culture and language.
