Possessions may be few, yet joy still rings true,

When I embrace the time that life imbues.

Though rarely in the spotlight's gleam,

When my turn comes, I'll show what I can beam.

Joy fills my being, gratitude takes hold,

For all the love that surrounds me, I'm told.

Recognizing the good, all pain subsides,

Hope awakens, I laugh, dance, and freely stride.

With joy in my heart, I take what's meant for me,

Saying "thank you" to life, so gracefully.

In my pocket, close to my heartbeat's sound,

A treasure resides, unshaken, profound.

Joy and love, sometimes pain's embrace,

Yet all combined, make my inner space

Vast and open, carrying all in my heart.

I am what I've always been, from the start.

Carrying myself, living free in this place,

Forever and always, at my own pace.
