Shelly has been in business for many years now and shared her experience of pivoting her bricks and mortar business into the online space during the pandemic. Challenging and all as this was to Shelly at the time, it opened her eyes to the digital world for her business and she got a taste for how her beloved business could be more manageable around her growing family. As Shelly was 32 weeks pregnant during this interview, we talked about the challenging reality of pregnancy and the postpartum period, along with how to stay healthy during this time. In this weeks episode, I was joined by Andrea from @cosycountryliving. She talks us through the steps which led to her setting up her Instagram account and launching her business. Previous to her Instagram handle, she operated over Pinterest - investing time in a hobby! After becoming a mum, she spotted an opportunity to monetize her hobby. Andrea set up her Instagram account and she hasn't looked back since! She provides the most divine smelling wax melts, candles and room sprays and she has lots of ideas about how she can grow and develop her business. Andrea was refreshingly in tune with staying in her lane and enjoying all stages of her business rather than just striving for what is ahead. She comments on the importance of looking after yourself and how your business will evolve when you take a step away from it and look after yourself first. In this weeks episode, I was joined by Britt from @sage_marketingservices and she talks us through the series of distressing events which led to her quitting her job and starting a digital marketing business from home so that she could be with her two children. Britt's business background really does highlight that if you want something badly enough, you can just go for it - you just have to be brave enough and want it badly enough. Britt has created a digital marketing business even though she did not have a marketing background. She sought out a business opportunity that she was talented at and she just went for it. She has not been in business for many months and has seen enormous growth across her social media platforms in a relatively short period of time. She shares with us her business growth success secrets and brings a refreshingly balanced attitude to how we should let social media influence our business.

In this weeks episode, I was joined by the fabulous Georgy from @georgydillon_pt. She has an incredible story of how she completely reinvented her life, stepping away from her management role within a corporate organisation and retraining as a personal trainer! She is a walking example of how someone can start from scratch and become successful within one year! To top this success story off, Georgy did all this while on maternity leave with her second baby! What an inspiration she is and she details simplistic methods that she used to create her website and market her business online. Support is key according to Georgy and in order to be able to accomplish ones goals, you must get support whether it comes in the form of childcare or developing manageable business systems that allow you to conduct a flexible business around your children.
