This case has been with me since I saw the 1999 file ‘Boys Don’t Cry’. I was obsessed with learning about Brandon’s story and finally decided to tell it to you. We don’t often hear about Brandon anymore when we talk about Transgender rights and prejudices. His story is important. His story deserves to be told. Note: Although assigned Female at birth, Brandon identified as male and that is how he will be referred to throughout this episode. If you or someone you know needs an advocate for transgender issues, please contact the Trans Lifeline at 877-565-8860 or www.translifeline.org/
