 In 1998, 8-year-old Maddie Clifton would be brutally murdered by her 14-year-old next door neighbor, Josh Phillips. Charged as an adult, Josh would eventually be found guilty of the murder, and sentenced to life without the possibility of parole. Was his trial fair, and is it cruel and unusual to sentence a child to life without parole?
