January 1998, Sudbury, Ontario. 23 year old Renee Sweeney is working by herself at the Adults Only Video Store on Walford Road.

Around 11:15 a.m. a man enters the store and attacks Renee, stabbing her repeatedly. He flees the store and is never seen again.
