As a parent, sending your children off to college can be scary. It’s natural to worry about your child making the right choices, succeeding in their classes, making new friends, and whether they can take care of themselves without your help. Unfortunately, these issues pale in comparison to the reality of violence occurring on campus. Date rape, domestic abuse, and even murder are all too common once someone is out there in the “real world,” and college campuses are no different.
