Being resourceful is way more important than having resources.

This episode explains ANOTHER reason why you should be putting out hella content.

Although I do think it's important to market your music as hard as you can, don't trip out about the numbers. Numbers don't always dictate good art

While You Take Your Time...

So Drake's new album "Dark Land Demo Tapes" got me thinking about how certain greats reinvent themselves, and how you can too!

I hear this a lot from musicians: "I'm waiting for my song to get mixed and mastered," or "I'm just waiting for the cover art to be done," BLAH BLAH BLAH! STOP WAITING FOR OTHER PEOPLE TO FINISH YOUR MUSIC!!! This is YOUR music, YOUR career, YOUR life. Let me ask you a question? If you wanted to lose 20 pounds would you say, "I'm waiting for my diet plan," or "I'm waiting until I get a gym membership?" Do you know how stupid and lazy that sounds? You wanna lose weight??? GO ON A WALK OR A RUN AND STOP EATING CRAP! You want to make music? THEN MAKE MUSIC!!!!! Stop depending on others.

Feedback is one of the most critical things that you need to get to continue to improve. I have a few stories of times that my best friends would TEAR MY MUSIC DOWN and it helped make me BETTER! Hope you get value from this episode.
