You have to believe in your own ideas before you can expect other people to believe in them. People aren't going to see your vision for most of your ideas, and they probably don't even care about your ideas a fraction of the amount you do. So why ask people? Why go ask TONS of people and get multiple opinions? JUST TRY YOUR IDEAS!!!

So recently (yesterday) I deleted the Instagram app off my phone. I still have my account but I don't have the app on my phone. I did the same thing with tiktok, and twitter. I want to eliminate distractions while I continue to prepare for putting out a new song every week in the next few months. As an added bonus I transitioned into talking about an awesome album launch strategy that you could implement to actually sell your music!

You can create momentum in good ways AND in bad ways. Keeping track of your daily tasks helps you stay organized, and be proud of yourself when you win therefor creating momentum. 

I'm reading this new book called "The War of Art" by Steven Pressfield. In the book he talks about the difference between an amateur and a professional. He says the amateur waits for inspiration, and the professional forces him or herself to be inspired at the same time every day. The point is NOT to wait for inspiration to come to you, but rather create your own inspiration.

I started the episode off breaking down this new book I'm reading called "All You Need To Know About The Music Industry." Then I decided to transition to breaking down an interesting record deal. Russ is one of if not the most successful independent artist of our generation.  He's debute album "There's Really A Wolf" went platinum with multiple songs going platinum and gold. The coolest part is that he fully produced the entire album himself, as well as kept all of his masters.
