Kim McVean, aka Sensory Nanny, is an occupational therapist and a mother of twins who have Autism. She's joining us today to talk about sensory issues and music therapy.

Ann Petty, MT-BC, has been a music therapist in a school system for fifteen years, worked in psych for five years, and in geriatrics for three years. She has a small community based private practice and created the music therapy program in Cy-Fair ISD. She is currently the internship director for HCDE. HCDE is celebrating its 120th anniversary this year and the MT program is officially 25 years old.

Terri Hart, MT-BC, NMT, has eleven years' experience at Harris County Department of Education (HCDE)and ten years in private practice in home health care.

Michelle Melander, MA, MT-BC, is a music therapist in Plano ISD. She speaks today about the music therapy program in Plano, TX.

Kathleen Coleman co-authored the SEMTAP and joins me this week to discuss music therapy assessment in special education settings.

Debbie Dacus, MT-BC, has worked in Birdville ISD in North Texas for 20 years. She also has a private practice and has worked in a clinic using the medical model. She is my guest this week and will talk about music therapy as a direct service and consult service delivery in our Music Therapy in Schools Series.

Veronica Llanos Butler, MT-BC, MSEd, MT-BC, LMT, NMT Fellow, is our guest this week. Veronica is currently the music therapist and music therapy internship program director at The Rise School of Houston, a non-profit early intervention preschool for children with and without developmental disabilities ages 6 months to 6 years of age.
