What happened to missing Flight 19, a U.S. Navy flight of planes that disappeared on a simple training mission off the coast of Florida?  This week on Solvable Mysteries we discuss the famous disappearance of Flight 19, a group of 5 PBM Avenger torpedo bombers lead by Lt. Charles Taylor that seemingly disappeared off the face of the earth while in clear radio contact with their naval colleagues one stormy night on December 5th, 1945, along the crew of a separate flying boat.

Charles Taylor could have either a panic attack or otherwise let his ego override good judgment and ultimately doom a flight of experienced aviators navigating in familiar training territory.
