Let’s talk about SIN.Let’s talk about HUNGER.Let’s talk about the Israelites journey through the wilderness of Sin; their cycle of sin, their grumbling, and the lessons.
Scripture: Exodus 16:11 – 36
Israel has made it out of Egypt, their compass leads them to travel towards Mount Sinai, where God first spoke to Moses in the burning bush. They start complaining and grumbling about lack of water and food running out.
Sounds familiar?Grumbling distorts the past: you begin to forget the reality of your past bondage in the face of your present fears. When you are hungry, thirsty & tired; when you don’t get what you want; when you feel unappreciated, overlooked, uncared for, your default is to grumble & whine.
The real problem is: we don’t trust God.God never promised to remove obstacles from our path – he promised to be with us through whatever we encounter in life.
